The SOL Group’s 2025 Sustainability Report Now Available in English

The SOL Group’s sustainability report for 2025 has now been translated into English, making it accessible to a broader international audience. The report highlights the most important actions and achievements of the year.
The report published in April by the family-owned company SOL is a comprehensive overview of the sustainability work of an internationally operating group. The report describes the company’s efforts in its most material sustainability themes, which are its own workforce, climate change, resource use and the circular economy, as well as the conduct of business.
The year 2025 was a time of both growth and renewal for SOL. The Group’s revenue increased by 3.7% and reached €389.7 million. The Group employed more than 12,400 people in six different countries. International business became the main driver of growth for the Group.
The success of the SOL Group is built on skilled, motivated, and well-being employees. Therefore, ensuring the wellbeing, competence, and safety of personnel plays a central role in fulfilling social responsibility. In 2025, the safety culture improved further: in Finland, safety observations increased by 30%, while workplace accidents decreased by 4% (TRIF). Employee satisfaction remained high. SOL also continued its long-term investment in developing employee competence. The training index of the Finnish companies was 54%, and training hours 6.4 hours per employee.
In 2025, the Group’s emissions from its own sources decreased by 4% (Scope 1). SOL committed to setting science-based climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement, emissions calculations were produced for the first time covering all business operations and emission sources, and the company was able to provide customers with data on the climate emissions of the services offered. The circular economy was identified as opening up opportunities for growth and renewal in the near future.
SOL’s sustainability report is a commitment that the company will continue to develop its operations transparently for the benefit of all its stakeholders. The report has been prepared largely in accordance with the standards issued under the EU reporting directive, even though sustainability reporting legislation does not yet apply to the SOL Group.
