SOL Training
Our training is based on the SOL Training System, which aims at maintaining the high professional skills of our personnel and providing basic training for each job. Our training programme has several steps and is partly based on modular instruction. A certificate is awarded for each training session.Our training plan derives from the needs of customers, individuals and the company. The overall situation at each customer site is monitored by the SOL Training Index, which provides a general overview of employees' competence and their participation in the training programme. SOL's annual training budget is around 2% of the company's turnover. Some 10,000 employees participate every year in the training sessions arranged by SOL.
We cooperate with training institutes and educational institutions in our field, and we implement part of the training as apprenticeship training.
Each employee receives initial new employee orientation training at the beginning of the employment relationship and follow-on employee orientation training within three months from starting work. Implementation of both orientation courses is actively monitored and the employee always acknowledges receipt of the completed training.
